Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
In this agreement, “Mayfield Airport Minicabs,” “we,” or “us” denotes the service provider. “You” and “your” refer to any individual, business, or entity making a booking with us.
2. Booking
2.1 It is imperative that you allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure timely arrival, especially for airport transfers requiring adherence to flight check-in times. Mayfield Airport Minicabs shall not be liable for any delays resulting from insufficient time allocation or failure to be ready for pickup at the scheduled time.
2.2 You are responsible for selecting a vehicle size suitable for your group and luggage. We do not guarantee the transportation of excessive luggage. Additionally, please note that regardless of age, each child counts as a single passenger.
2.3 Any requests for wheelchair access must be communicated at the time of booking.
3. Prices & Payment
3.1 Our quotations are based on the information provided by you and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Any applicable VAT will be charged separately. We reserve the right to adjust quotes in case of significant changes to the itinerary.
3.2 Our quotes include a 45-minute waiting period post-landing and airport parking costs. Additional waiting time will be charged at our standard rate. While we endeavour to accommodate delays, we are not obligated to do so.
3.3 Upon accepting our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review this confirmation thoroughly for accuracy. Failure to notify us of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs for which we shall not be held responsible.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made via cash, credit card, or debit card.
4. The Service
4.1 You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers may incur cleaning charges.
4.2 Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We will not exceed the maximum passenger limit specified by licensing or insurance regulations.
5. Cancellations
5.1 If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us promptly. Failure to cancel before dispatch may result in charges based on the distance travelled by the driver up to the cancellation point.
5.2 For cancellations made before dispatch, charges may apply to the original payment method for bookings made through our online system.
6. Liability
6.1 While we make every effort to ensure timely arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to circumstances beyond our control. We disclaim liability for any losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Luggage is transported at your own risk.
6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavour to arrange alternative transportation promptly.
6.4 You agree not to hold Mayfield Airport Minicabs liable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from the actions or omissions of any member of your party.
6.5 Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or other matters prohibited by applicable laws.
7. Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any passenger poses a risk to the vehicle or driver. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
8. Miscellaneous
8.1 We may subcontract our obligations under this agreement. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations without our consent.
8.2 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions, with changes effective upon publication on our website. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly. Existing bookings will be honoured at the rates applicable at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle information by the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Mayfield Airport Minicabs and you.
8.5 No third party has rights under this agreement unless expressly stated in writing.
9. Disputes
Any disputes or claims must be made within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Claims made after this period may not be entertained.
